Supervised by Dr. Roxanna Ramirez, LMFT-S, LPC-S

Successful therapy depends on the therapist's ability to connect with the client, understand their goals, adapt to their needs, and cultivate a safe, secure space in which to foster emotional awareness and personal growth. I strive to tailor every aspect of my integrative therapeutic approach to provide the individual, couple, or family with an experience that fully embraces these principles.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I embrace a multilingual as well as multicultural therapeutic space and I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals. While I am here to guide you through the process, this is your process, and I want to aid you in finding your strengths so that you can be in charge of your journey.

Starting therapy can be intimidating and overwhelming. Please call me for an initial phone consultation where we can discuss any concerns or questions you might have, as well as assess client-therapist fit. I am offering tele-video sessions during this time. I am looking forward to hearing from you and being part of your journey.

I am a native spaniard who moved to Austin in 2005. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. I then, went on to get my Mental Health Counseling and Wellness Masters from NYU Steinhardt.

We provide services for children, teenagers, and adults. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, welcoming space in which you can explore, process, and grow. Our areas of specialty are:

  • Anxiety and mood disorders (i.e., depression)

  • Phobias and OCD

  • Adjustment disorders, stress management, and life transitions.

  • Trauma, grief, and divorce

We offer a broad range of support for parents at various stages of their journey, from transitioning into parenthood, to understanding and coping with a temperament mismatch between parent and child, to the inevitable changes and transitions brought on by adolescence.

At Multicultural Therapy, we strive to help you understand your child's experiences and to recognize the role you play in your child's struggles so that you and your child can nurture and enjoy a stronger bond with one another.

During our time together you and your partner will develop a broader perspective with an emphasis on learning how to listen to each other's needs as well as honoring your needs as individuals. Our goal is to aid you in understanding what triggers and dynamics are at play in your relationship and to foster healthy communication. We want you to leave with an effective set of tools and techniques, empowering you to overcome any new challenges that might arise post therapy.
